Richie Kayvan Biography
Richard Kayvan is a talented young writer/producer who has previously worked on albums with the likes of producers Owen Morris (Oasis) and John Cornfield (Supergrass). He has also co-written two songs on the latest Sonique album and finished the score for the new Dennis Hopper film, "The Keeper" with fellow A7 Music cohort Sacha Puttnam. Additionally, Richard has co-written, produced and mixed tracks by The Orb, Chris Coco and Badmarsh and Shri.
During this time, Richard has gone on to forge his own path producing up and coming acts across a musical spectrum while focusing on writing and producing his own material. Richard's musical influences stem from alternative rock and industrial through to dance and chill-out. These influences are evident in his recent work, which combine the best elements of those genres merged into unpredictable, memorable and dynamic tracks.
Richard's latest project is Vada; Together with Harry Diamond (of "Lost Brothers" fame) Richard co-writes and produces this electro-punk project. Vada follows closely from the success of Dogzilla.
Dogzilla "Dogzilla" (the 1st and self-titled single) has received critical acclaim in the dance music arena, having been supported by many high profile DJs such as Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Tiesto and Danny Howells and has been played many times across national radio. "Dogzilla" features in the cult British film "The Football Factory" and MTV Punked. The success of Dogzilla has lead to serious remixes from major labels and massive demand for the follow up single, "Your Eyes" which is due for release soon.
The next project Richard has in store is an electro-rock fusion act called Triple_Hex, which should be taking dance floors by storm in the next few months. The initial response on this act has been fantastic, with an early incarnation of one track already receiving several plays on Radio 1.
