Simon Patterson - Strip Search/Panic Attack (Spinnin NL) 5/5 - DJ Magazine Review

Vying for titles of the year (think about them a minute!), Simon Patterson provides the follow up to the gimmicky-but-great ‘F16’. ‘Strip Search’s’ beats & bass piston along together as the techy jabs and proggy effects piss petrol on its barbecue. The frayed, distorted quality of the classical piano breakdown merely adds to the left-of-centre cool. Flipside and ‘Panic Attack’ has a surplus of ideas all jostling for position. The 2 ½ minute break is a touch excessive, but you can’t fault the hectic end result. Massive!
