Suits You Music signs exclusive deal with AMV Talpa Music Germany

A7 music's administrative publishing arm, Suits You Music has signed an exclusive 3 year deal to administer German independent music publishing company AMV Talpa in the UK.

The AMV Talpa catalogue contains over 7000 titles, including acts like Corduroy, Jazzanova, Humate and Timo Mass to name but a few. AMV Talpa has up until this year been administered in the UK by Reverb music. However, following on from AMV's merger with Dutch publishers Talpa late last year, AMV Talpa wanted a change and following a brief meeting with Suits You, a deal was struck.

Seven Webster, Managing Director of A7 Music /Suits You Music said "I have known Jens from AMV Talpa for a long time and have always wanted to work with him. Jens epitomizes to me the spirit of proactive independent music publishing and is everything I like about the business at the moment. So, to be representing his catalogue in the UK is a great privilege.

Also as part of the deal, AMV Talpa will administer reciprocal rights with Suits You Music in GAS. The Suits You portfolio includes classic catalogues by The Men They Couldn't Hang as well as new albums by dance hit producer Mike Koglin and new rock act Belasco .
