Radio 1 DJ Chris Coco supports and joins Robbie Williams for World Tour

Robbie Williams has drafted-in Radio 1 eclectic DJ Chris Coco as support to open his World Tour and to kickstart the proceedings across the globe. Chris Coco will also accompany Robbie's band onstage with special reworkings of a number of his songs specifically for the tour including his dubbed up reworking of Robbies recent hit 'Trippin'.

Chris Coco will be opening Robbie's shows internationally alongside Orson and Basement Jaxx. Chris who also presents Radio 1's Blue Room show has long been known for his legendary DJ sets which started at the height of the acid house scene when he ran his own legendary 'Coco Club' in Brighton.

Since then Chris has gone from strength to strength, recording a number of well received artist albums for labels including Warp and Distinctive Records as well as tracks under numerous monikers . He also specially scored music for the highly acclaimed movie 'The Football Factory'.

Having just signed with Ether Records, the home of Giles Peterson, Chris plans to release a compilation album of music taken from his Radio show the Blue Room later this Summer. The album contains a number of exclusive BBC Maida Vale live sessions taken from the show.

To coincide with Robbies Tour Chris has also released an exclusive 4 track downloadable EP via Tunetribe.com which features tracks being played on the tour. In between Robbie Williams dates Chris will also be doing special one off appearances at this summers Big Chill Festival and Bestival.
