McQueen are set to open next weeks great line up at High Field Festival in Germany on the 21st August alonside such bands as The FOO FIGHTERS, GOOD CHARLOTTE ,HOT HOT HEAT ,INCUBUS , PIXIES ,QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, THE BLOOD BROTHERS ,THE FUTUREHEADS ,THE HIVES ,THE SUBWAYS and WEEZER.
McQueen's new single "Running out of things to Say" has also been added to LA's Cult Independent Radio Station Indie 103.1 playlist . The single has now been put into heavy rotation. McQueen have already received import spins on over 30 US Commercial Rock and Alternative Radio stations including KEDJ Phoenix, KUPD Phoenix, KNRK Portland, KXTE Las Vegas, KATT Oklahoma City, KMBY Monterey, KMYZ Tulsa, KRZQ Sacramento, KTEG lbuquerque, KXRK Salt Lake City, WBTZ Burlington, WGRD Grand Rapids, WKRL Syracuse, KJEE Santa Barbara, KRZR Fresno, WMAD Madison, WTFX Louisville, WKGB Bighamton, KROG Medford, WAITT Radio Networks and DMX MUSIC (amongst many others). In fact, the band recently reached No.2 on the US national airplay specialty show tracking chart for the industry trade publication FMQB.
In the UK the buzz has also just started and Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson on BBC 6 Music and XFMs Ian Camfield have already started spinning the track as well as an early playlisting from Total Rock.
The band will also be headlining shows at Londons City Showcase at the Islington Garage (Upstairs) 5th Sept and Brighton Live fest at the Free Butt 7th Oct (Free Show).
