A7 music has this week closed a deal with Warner Music to administer the A7 music catalogue across the GAS territories.
The deal will see all the A7 music catalogue including this weeks Number 3 record in Germany by Universal artist Joana Zimmer, written by A7 music writer Marcella Detroit falling under the terms of the deal.
The deal was instigated by Warner Chappells MD Norbert Masch and Hille Hillincamp of Warner Chappells affiliate company H Music who will both also play an active day to day proactive role in the exploitation and administration of the A7 music catalogue.
The deal was finalised by Norbert Masch and A7 music MD Seven Webster who last worked together on the artist Dido when she was first signed by Webster to Warner Chappells Worldwide. A7 music MD Seven Webster says " It is great to be working with both Hille and Norbert and get their creative involvement and enthusiasm with our acts and writers in Germany and to have a situation where we effectively have two exceptionally good and well respected publishers spearheading our growth in the GAS territories.
The deal will see Warner Music/H Music sub-publishing A7 music writers like
Marcella Detroit, who has co-written songs on forthcoming albums for Charlotte
Church and Alisha (Misteeq) and of course Joana Zimmer, as well as sub-publishing
new A7 music acts like The Sunset Strippers, Headway and McQueen.
