Mooli Biography

Mooli are Ben Copland and Clea Llewellyn.

Formed in the latter part of 2003, the group released their debut EP One Design in 2006 on their own Mooli Music label.

The EP, featuring the tracks, One Design, Save You, Awaken, and Underneath the Same Sun, soon gained recognition from BBC Radio 6 Music. And BBC Radio 2’s presenter Tom Robinson, who played the title track on his show and invited the band to the BBC studio for a live interview and session.

To date, the band feature on 9 international compilations, alongside acts like Zero 7, Jose Gongalez, Snow Patrol, Breaks Co- op, Royksopp, Peter Bjorn & John, William Orbit, Underworld, Thievery Corporation, Sarah Mclachlan, Bent, Bonobo and X Press 2.

The latest album to feature Mooli's music is 'Angels Fall', compiled by Hed Kandi’s founder Mark Doyle.

The band recently made their first video for the song ' Save you'. It is now on rotation on MTV Dance. Mooli will be releasing their debut album later this year.
