Galex Music

Galex Music was devised by Alexis Hooper and Gareth Emery in 2004. Alexis has been working in intensive A&R operations since 2000, having had projects licensed on to UK Top 40 commercial chart success and currently maintaining multiple record label management, he is no stranger to the workings of top material. Gareth Emery has produced hit tracks that have been supported by the world’s number one DJs and featured on an extensive array of compilations. A DJ himself he repeatedly plays to audiences all around the world and understands the key factors for pleasing thousands.

The ethos behind Galex Music is to hand pick artists that show insight, focus and ability to reach a wider ranging audience with their music. We look to shape and push selected musical pieces to the furthest reaches and to have the rewards efficiently organized and collected. We personally select special musicians across all genres to work with, creating a motivated team atmosphere of talented individuals. We have an active attitude towards helping the musicians and make sure all the right ingredients are available including vocalists and session workers within our long forged network.

Alan Nimmo & Andrew Bayer (Team SR / Signalrunners):

Alan Nimmo & Andrew Bayer have enjoyed extensive radio coverage of their music with over 30 BBC Radio 1 plays alone since joining Galex Music. Their ‘Leaving London’ track was put forward to the BBC Radio 1 playlist panel and requested for a live Radio 1 P.A. in Summer 2006.

Their productions now feature on numerous compilations including Ministry Of Sound.

Miikka Leinonen (Miikka & Jussi / Miikka):

Miikka from Finland is a prolific composer. He portrays the real essence of Finnish dance music in his works and since joining Galex Music has had material on compilations for Sony BMG and Ministry of Sound.
