With Andy being so in demand as a programmer /drummer/rhythm track expert, it is only recently that he has found time to take the production reins in his own right .However, he did still manage to produce a number of seminal tracks for the quirky techno blues act "The Alabama 3" , as well as a number of Creation records finest prior to its sad demise.

Andy started work under the fine tutelage of legendary producer Toni Visconti for whom Andy worked for years. At this time Andy was responsible for drums on acts such as David Bowie (Heroes) as well as records for Phil Lynott and Hazel O'Connor.

Later Andy teamed up with fellow Visconti understudy and friend producer Chris Porter, the two working on Wham! and then George Michael's solo material, including the massive "Faith". Andy's rhythmic talents were constantly in demand with other household name producers with the likes of Trevor Horn securing Andy's services on all Seal's albums as well as on prime cuts for Frankie Goes To Hollywood (Two Tribes), The Pet Shop Boys and Marc Almond's 'The Days Of Pearly Spencer'.

During this time Andy still managed jaunts away from the studio to join Simple Minds on percussive duty for several World Tours.

Subsequently Andy was recruited by Stephen Hague for Tom Jon's 'Reload' album as well as New Order's 'Republic' album and Madchester's finest, The Happy Mondays.
